Description The Chinese immortal Jofuku (Ch. Su She) is shown riding on the back of a crane and holding a book. Jofuku was sent by the emperor to discover the elixir of youth. He took with him many Chinese books. These books were said to have escaped a book burning that destroyed all other text in 212 BC. This is part of a set with Walters 51.1110.
