Description Provenance Inscription Credit
Description This tsuba is early iron work (probably from the 16th century) with gold decorations which were added by Morichika in the 19th century. The gold work is of bush clover and chrysanthemums. Three small bugs appear at the very bottom.
Provenance Henry Walters, Baltimore [date and mode of acquisition unknown]; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
