Relief with a Bull's Head
(South Arabia)
The fragment of a decorative frieze probably served as an architectural element or part of a large stela. The frieze had sections, each with a bull's head represented frontally, flanked by pillars with four-stage capitals. The ornamental element on top of the bull's head may be a stylized acanthus leaf.
