Description This hollow figure holding her breasts probably was part of a table or chair leg. The provincial character of the partly opened mouth and bulging eyes is associated with the metalworking tradition of Urartu.
Provenance Dikran Kelekian, New York and Paris; Henry Walters, Baltimore, 1926, by purchase; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
