Tsuka with Samurai Lord
(Japanese Military Armor)
On the kashira, a samurai lord in full armor stands beneath a pine tree. Behind him is a flag bearer. Pine trees are a symbol of longevity and often used to depict power. The menuki tied into either side of the tsuka are in the form of military batons. This is part of a mounted set.
