Tsuka with Autumn Flowers
(Japanese Military Armor)
Autumn flowers, including chrysanthemums, pampas grass, Chinese bell flowers, and maiden flower, are incised in the tsuka with gold details. The kashira of chrysanthemum roundels on a basket weave background matches the accompanying fuchi by Itô Nobutoshi. This is part of a mounted set.
