Tsuak with Salamander and Ants
(Japanese Military Armor)
The scabbard is designed to look like stick of wood. On the tsuka, a salamander appears to be crawling through the wood. His head and upper body appear on the front, and his lower body is on the reverse. Small ants are also crawling along the tsuka. The kashira is incised with a cluster of chrysanthemums. This is part of a mounted set.
