Description Two types of paulownia are depicted in gold against a silver background of fish egg pattern ("nanako-ji"). The paulownia on the right is depicted in a naturalistic fashion, while the one on the left is in the shape of a family crest ("mon"). Paulownia crests are associated with the Imperial family and high ranking warriors. This is part of a mounted set.
