Description The kashira is decorated with a floral scroll motif and diamond crests ("mon"). The metal plates framing the mekugi pins also has the floral motif and the pin ends are in the shape of the diamond crest. This crest was used by multiple warrior clans. It could have indicated the owner of the set or could have been commissioned by a member of that clan as a gift. This is part of a mounted set.
