Binding from Qur'an
This binding from Walters manuscript W.552 is not contemporary with the textblock. It probably dates to the 13th century AH/AD 19th or later. It is composed of green goatskin with a flap, and has a gold-painted central floral design and cornerpieces. The endpapers are of green textured paper.
