Illuminated Double-page Incipit

This folio from Walters manuscript W.642 is the left side of an illuminated double-page incipit. The top panel is inscribed with the author's name in white Tawqi'/Riqa' script on a gold background. The text area has interlinear gilt decoration with polychrome floral motifs. The illuminated borders are of a blue ground with gilt medallions and floral forms.
