(18th and 19th Centuries )
Encircling the holder is a wide band of scrolling vine and blossom motifs in blue, green, red, and orange plique-à-jour enamel. A row of pointed arches, each enclosing trefoils in blue and three red circles in plique-à-jour enamel, all against opaque white, extends around the lower portion of the vessel. These arches are separated by three orange and one violet lozenge shapes.
