Wine Goblet
(18th and 19th Centuries )
The plique-à-jour cup is decorated with abstract vegetal and what appear to be peacock feather motifs in blue, turquoise, brown, amethyst, and white enamel against a greenish white ground. Rows of blue triangles and blue and white diamond shapes encircle the bowl.
The flaring striated and textured silver gilt foot is separated from the bowl by a tortoiseshell ring.
