Salt Cellar

The proverb in Slavonic is bordered by two raised bands each decorated with spiral decoration in light and dark blue punctuated by two foil-backed red blossoms. Although the maker's mark has not been positively identified, it is thought to be that of Dimitrii Ivanovich Orlov (1840-1872).
