Footed Dish
(18th and 19th Centuries )
In the center appears a Russian double-headed eagle with two crowns and a heraldic floral motif raised above the dish's turquoise circular center. Vines of filigree scrolls further enhance the turquoise ground. The border of the bowl is composed of eight pie-shaped sections enclosing naturalistically painted pink roses alternating with stylized Usolsk-type floral motifs in green, violet, pink, blue and yellow. The floral motifs are decorated with raised granules. Around the rim are mounted alternating pink and green cabochon stones.
