lluminated Incipit with Headpiece
This folio from Walters manuscript W.604 is an illuminated incipit page that introduces the 2nd poem of the Khamsah, Khusraw va Shirin. The folio has a headpiece in foliated New Abbasid (Broken Cursive) Style inscribed: dhikr al-qadim awlá bi-al-taqdim.
