Description
This Huari band, likely part of a tunic border, is unusual in portraying a range of real and imaginary animals, including a crab, a pelican-like bird, and two open-mouthed fanged predators, shown in profile with four clawed legs splayed out. While the level of preservation is poor, vibrant reds and blues can still be discerned.
