Fuchi with Fukurokujû or Daruma on a Boat
(Japanese Military Armor)
A figure in Chinese robes is shown sitting in the prow of a boat. This is either the god of longevity, Fukurokujû, or the founder of Zen Buddhism, Daruma. Resting on a stand in front of him is a sacred jewel, which represents wealth and wisdom. This is part of a set with Walters 51.957.
