Brown calf with a ground of small, gilt floral, a black and gilt rectangular frame at outer edge, and a center medallion featuring a bear tethered to a tall tree stump with the initials "R D" - (Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester). Fore edges gilt with double row of dots in square pattern at fore edge. Same fore edge design, done with different tools, as on 92.526 and 92.271. Housed in green morocco box.
