Kozuka with Daikoku with Jewels and Rats

Description Provenance Inscription Credit
Description Daikoku, one of the seven gods of good fortune, is shown leaning against his bag of precious jewels. On the table next to him are several jewels and he holds on in his hand. Three rats surround him, one on the right and two on the left. Rats are commonly associated with Daikoku as a reminder that treasure must be guarded.
