Description These neoclassical vases are copied from a Sèvres model known as a "vase panneaux." The putti and landscapes were probably painted by Richard Askew and Zachariah Boreman, respectively, who both worked at Chelsea and later at Derby.
Provenance George Robinson Harding, London [date and mode of acquisition unknown]; Henry Walters, Baltimore, 1911, by purchase; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
