Italian Girl
(18th and 19th Centuries )
Jalabert, Paul Delaroche's most devoted pupil, was noted for his delicate style. This small painting of the young Italian model Maria Pasqua replicates a work entitled Maria Abruzeze that Jalabert exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1863.
