Cylinder Seal with Cartouche of Amenemhat
This stone seal is inscribed with the name Amenemhat in hieroglyphs enclosed within a cartouche. This was a popular birth name for kings during the 12th Dynasty (ca. 1985-1773 BCE), and seals with this royal name continued to be made through the Second Intermediate Period (ca. 1650-1550 BCE).
