Portrait of Maria Theresa, Archduchess of Austria, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia

Austrian (?) (Artist)
ca. 1740
oil on canvas
(18th and 19th Centuries )

Maria Theresa of Austria lived from 1717-1780. In this painting she holds a sceptre in her right hand and the two crowns of Austria are on the table just behind her. The inacuracy in the depiction of the Crown of Hungry perhaps suggests that this painting was copied from a print.
