Description Conservation Provenance Inscription Credit
Description The little boy is probably about three years old, young enough to still be wearing a dress, before graduating to long pants. He wears as well a child-sized rapier on his right side, which suggests that he not only from a noble family but is left-handed. The style points to Florence.
