Schematic Figure
Carved from bone or ivory, this small figure is very stylized. The body is flat and rectangular, with the legs slightly separated. Horizontal and crossed lines appear at the top of the head, neck, torso, and pelvis. Circular depressions are at the shoulders and navel. The eyes are two proportionatly large circles with central dots, and the mouth is indicated by a simple horizontal line. The back is flat and featureless.
