Pair of Earrings
These colorful beaded earrings feature complex patterns executed in tiny beads, with additional Amazonian seeds as pendants on beaded strings below. The cobalt, light green and white beads form one of the complex weblike designs called kené in the Indigenous Shipibo language. These compositions of straight and curved lines are invented by women, who apply them to textiles, ceramics, wood objects, and beaded adornments
