Stadhouder William IV, Prince of Orange
Half-length portrait of Willem Karel Henrik, Prince of Orange, later Statholder Willem IV (1711-51). He wears the Most Noble Order of the Garter, visible under his sash.This portrait was the basis for, or possibly based on, a mezzotint by J. Faber. See WAM 93.2. This engraving gives the date of the painting reproduced as 1734.
