Baboon
(Ancient Egypt and Nubia )
Baboons were related to the god of wisdom Thoth but also depicted as animals welcoming the sun god in the morning and in the evening. This animal has no moon disk and moon crescent on its head and therefore may be one of the solar baboons. The loop on the back of the pendant is broken off.
