Basket (Corbeille pour pendule)
This small porcelain basket with its delicate pierced design and precise gilding demonstrates the extraordinary ceramic work that continued to be produced by Sèvres through the 19th century. This basket model was conceived around 1820 by Jean-Charles-François Leloy (French, 1774–1846), a principal designer for the manufactory from 1816 until his death.
