This bottle has been adapted for snuff with a very wide neck plus a matching stopper with a large cork and shovel-shaped ivory spoon. The vase itself is of iron-red decoration on a white ground and illustrates a pair of dragons seeking the flaming pearl. It is nicely exceuted. In this case, the pearl is in the stopper, original to the bottle.
