Kozuka with a Tiger by a Rock in the Rain
(Japanese Military Armor)
At the center of the kozuka are a striped tiger and a rock with bamboo shoots. Tigers were considered the strongest animal. Enamel on the right indicates rain. The background is designed to look like crushed silk ("chirimen").
