Obverse: Two draped male busts, confronted and in profile; name and titles of Najm al-Din Alpi above and below and dynastic symbol (tamgha) lower left; all within in a border of dots.

Reverse: At left, Byzantine emperor standing frontal being crowned by the Virgin Mary at right, frontal; continuation of titles and pedigree in fields left, right, above and below; all within a circle of dots.
