The female figure stands holding an egge in her right hand and a sea shell in her left. She wears a himation over a chiton, and her hair is bound with a cloth (sakkos). The egg and sakkos point to Italy as a place of creation, while the clothing depicted indicates a date of the mid fifth century BCE.
