Virgin and Child

Description Conservation Provenance Credit
Description Judge from the old photo this piece exhibits real mastery in the drapery while the Christ Child appears to be damaged. The smooth contours of the Virgin's face may have suggested the old attribution to the Dalmatian sculptor Laurana who worked in Italy, but there has been no opportunity for serious examination.
