Portrait Bust of Perugino

Copy after Perugino (Italian, ca. 1450-1523) (Painter)
ca. 1525-1550 or later (Renaissance)
oil on wood panel

This painting is a copy after Perugino's "Self-Portrait" frescoed in the 1490s on the wall of the Collegio del Cambio, Perugia. It may also be partly inspired by the portrait of Perugino executed by his most famous pupil, Raphael, now in the Uffizi Gallery, Florence.
