Kozuka with Chinese-style Lion
(Japanese Military Armor)
At the right of the composition is a Chinese-style lion made of gold. These lions were derived from pictures of lions and tend to resemble dogs. A bolster pillow with long tassels is on the left. This is part of a mounted set.
