Fuchi with Mt. Fuji
(Japanese Military Armor)
The peak of Mt. Fuji rises over the edge of the fuchi on the left side. The top is decorated in silver, mimicking the snow that often covers the mountain peak. Mt. Fuji is the most sacred mountain in Japan and is a popular tourist destination. Pine trees are shown along the right edges and waves are on the reverse. This is part of a set with Walters 51.1047.
