Necklace with "Knot-of-Hercules" Links and Pomegranate Pendant
1st-2nd century CE
Fourteen polygonal beads of obsidian (?) alternate with flattened, "Knot of Hercules" gold links. A pomegranate-like pendant of carnelian is threaded at the center. The lyre-volute member of the hook and eye clasp is modern.
