Obverse: Bust of Valentinian I, diademed, draped and cuirassed, right; beaded border. Reverse: Emperor, dressed in military uniform, standing frontal, head turned right, holding labrum (late Roman standard) in right hand, Victory atop and orb in left hand; Victory faces left, crowns the emperor with a wreath; in exergue, palm leaf symbol to right (control mark); beaded border.
