Louis-Charles-Alfred de Musset

Louis-Charles-Alfred de Musset (b. 1810), French poet and playwright, published his first volume of poetry in 1829, when he was but twenty and quickly gained prominence. Musset penned many short stories and plays and was received into the Académie Française in 1852.
