Ring with an Intaglio of a Seated Man
1st century (Roman Imperial)
The intaglio set in this ring depicts a nude man sitting on rocks in profile to the left. He holds an object in his left hand. To the left of the figure is a statue, possibly of the god Priapus, on a column with the branches of a tree shown behind.
