VIRGIN AND CHILD WITH SAINTS
This diptych panel presents two scenes. On the left the Virgin Mary holds Christ in one hand and a lily branch in the other. To her right is Saint Catherine, crowned and holding a wheel and a palm-branch, and to her left is Saint John the Baptist, who carries a lamb. The right leaf contains the scene of the Crucifixion. To Christ's right is the Virgin Mary and to his left stand Saint John and the Centurion. Both scenes occur beneath a canopy of gothic style arches.
