Buckle
(Medieval Europe )
This is one of two matching buckles found with a silver bow fibula (Walters 57.1878). This large buckle could have fastened a belt. The matching smaller buckle, Walters 57.1880, could have fastened something with a smaller strap, such as a pouch or a boot.
