Sketch of Barye's "Lion Lunging at a Boar"
This drawing is of one of the four animal combats at the base of "The Tiger Hunt"' in the Duke of Orleans' table centerpiece. The bronze is in the Louvre Museum (accession number OA 5745).
This sheet has drawings on both sides - on the verso is a study of drapery.
