Napoleon as First Consul
(18th and 19th Centuries )
This bust of Napoleon was modeled by Boizot and then put into production at the Sèvres factory on 8 November 1802. It shows Napoleon as a general from the consulate period during which he consolidated his power.
The bust stands on a blue and gold glazed porcelain base.
