Description Following Hangan's ritual suicide, his chief retainer Yuranosuke joins some of his master's followers outside the mansion. He holds up the suicide weapon in his hand. "This dagger, its tip stained with our master's blood, preserves his soul still, and it cries out for vengeance. With this dagger we will cut off Moronao's head and accomplish our mission. . . . Forty-seven men immortalized!"
