L'Offrande Lyrique
(Manuscripts and Rare Books)
This collection of poems by the Bengali poet and composer Rabindranath Tagore (1861–1941) uses the title of the work in translation - L'Offrande Lyrique (Song Offerings, or Gitanjali in the original Bengali) - as part of a horizontal design that wraps around the entire cover and is best appreciated when the book is open rather than closed.
