Binding from Prayer Book
(18th and 19th Centuries )
This binding is not original to its manuscript. The manuscript was rebound by Leon Gruel and Robert Engelmann in France during the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. It is made of dark crimson velvet and several of the folios are affected by rust deposits made by two metal rivets from a lost kindle chain.
