Triptych with Scenes of the Passion of Christ
(Renaissance Europe )
These nine plaques depict the Passion of Christ. Beginning in the lower left: a) The Last Supper; b) The Agony in the Garden; c) Ecce Homo; d) The Scourging of Christ at the Column; e) The Mocking of Christ; f) The Way to Cavalry; g) Christ Fastened to the Cross; h) The Crucifixion; i) The Resurrection.
All are copied from engravings after Albrecht Dürer's woodcuts of the 'Little Passion' (1511) or after their copies by Marcantonio Raimondi (B.
